Special Education provides students with the opportunity to learn at their own pace and overcome challenges that might seem difficult to others. The goal is to provide the student with an opportunity to learn in the least restrictive environment and to thrive to the best of their ability. The opportunity for special education comes with extra supports. Special Education teachers teach students with learning disorders, developmental delays, visual or hearing impairment, mobility challenges and other challenges that can impact learning.
